Engine Dynamometer

Together with the Chair of Thermodynamics and Transport Processes (LTTT), we operate an engine test bench (dynamometer).

Currently, tests are carried out on an ultra-modern 4-cyl. Diesel engine (2.1 L / 150 kW), in which we also have ECU access to key operating parameters.

The exhaust system of the engine is modular and offers full variability to conduct tests on complete exhaust gas aftertreatment systems or on sensors in the real exhaust gas.
