Modeling and Simulation

Simulation at Functional Materials goes in several directions. Components, transient temperature distributions, electric field distributions, reactions, and gas transport processes are simulated with FEM programs. The electrical and/or sensor properties of materials can be simulated as well. It is the aim of the simulation to develop understanding-based components and processes. This saves time and costs.

We have many licenses with the COMSOL software packages:
