Powder and Ceramics Processing

In the field of powder and ceramics processing we are equipped with different technologies and methods which offer the complete process chain from materials synthesis to bulk or film preparation. Additionally, several characterization methods are available.

For material synthesis we use the mixed-oxide technology with planetary ball mills (Pulverisette 5, Fritsch and PE 075, Netzsch).

Powder calcination can be done in several furnaces up to 1750 °C (in special gas atmospheres up to 1600 °C).

Further processing to pressed bulk samples, screen printable pastes or even slurries is possible.

The aerosol-deposition-technology allows us to make dense and adhesive layers directly from the powder without any high temperature sintering
